Erik Haldan Brevik
“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.” ~ Oscar Wilde
Erik has been acting and singing since he was a kid, and he loves nothing more than changing lives by bringing stories to life.
Erik received his B.A. in Theatre & Music from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where he earned distinctions such as Outstanding Student in both the Theatre Department and The School of Visual and Performing Arts. He later pursued his Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and has since worked as a mental health therapist, specializing in supporting fellow performing artists when he is not onstage.
Living, playing, and working on Broadway in NYC is Erik’s dream, and he feels most at home in the heart of the city—embracing the bright lights and even brighter personalities that define the greatest city on earth. Every entrance and exit Erik makes in his journey brings him closer to achieving this dream—one that would be impossible without the support and curiosity of wonderful people like you, taking the time to read his bio and get to know him better.
From singing to playing his guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, piano, and bass guitar, from playing Dungeons & Dragons and board games to writing poetry, composing scores, and engaging in meaningful conversations, Erik cherishes stories in all their forms. He firmly believes that we find our own true voices by helping others find theirs along the way.
Erik wants to thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about him and welcomes you to contact him directly for any and all inquiries!
